Picnic 2010 ~ Skagit Valley Writers League and Whatcom Writers & Publishers

The beach shelter at Bayview State Park in Skagit County provided respite from both the crisp breeze and later the warm sunshine as members of both groups became acquainted. Hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie-burgers were grilled on the outdoor BBQ (Thank you, Chef Michael) and enjoyed along with pot-luck side dishes brought by members. Books authored by members were displayed and available for sale. The sunny afternoon was filled with talking, laughing and watching other park visitors fly kites.
