Many folks climbed the 55 stairs to the third floor to view and purchase members' books for sale, despite the nippy December weather. We enjoyed meeting the Superintendent of Anacortes Schools, who expressed interest in getting local authors' works and our SVWL Anthology into the high school library. In addition to our visitors, we enjoyed listening to live music from the group down the hall from us. The view from the windows on our floor was a bonus—a joyful welcome for the holiday season ahead.
