Darlene will explain and provide examples of profile essays, demonstrate how to craft them, provide sample interview questions, and illustrate how to narrow the scope of your profile
essay for specific purposes. She will allow time for a practice interview and the drafting of an essay.

D.M. Dubay, author of Tales of Two Sisters writes general fiction bordering on romance, but her first real love is poetry. She began writing stories in a high school German class, soon discovering that English storytelling was much easier. Having spent several decades in Alaska as a professional pilot, her descriptions of the “Great Land” allow one to experience it vicariously. Darlene lives in Stanwood. While not trekking or singing, she helps her husband tend their small vineyard.
